Fred's Pass Positive Dog Training Club Inc (Fred's Pass) was founded in the 1980's and is affiliated with the North Australian Canine Association Inc (Dogs NT), which is the Local Controlling Body member of the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC).

Our club is focussed on promoting responsible dog ownership through education and training, and the instruction you will receive here will help you train your dog, using all positive methods, to be a great companion, a well behaved pet, and an enjoyable addition to your household.

Training at Fred's Pass Positive Dog Training Club involves enthusiastic instructors employing positive training techniques. We believe that a positive, supportive and encouraging environment helps you and your dog to live and learn in harmony. Our positive, rewards-based training has no harsh methods, punishment or check-chains, as all dogs are trained on flat collars using toys, treats, and praise only.

Our Club will offer you a program and Instructors who:

• Are friendly, encourage discussion, and show courtesy to dogs and to human members;
• Demonstrate each behaviour the members will teach their dogs, using positive tools and methods;
• Give clear instructions & explain each lesson;
• Allow sufficient time in class to begin practicing lessons; and
• Assist individuals with proper implementation of techniques.

Fred's Pass encourages our members to stay informed about innovations in dog training techniques & tools, and to have fun training and learning more about your pet as you go along.
